Nikon YS2-T Alphaphot-2 Binocular Microscope Lot of 5 - AS IS For Parts

Explanation below is going by each Microscopes serial numbers.

138699 – Not operational. Missing most components. Overall good condition with minor scuffs and scratches. Condenser mount is loose and missing bearings. Missing eyepieces, head, lamp, complete lamp assembly including adjustment knob, lamp lens cover, and condenser. No objectives included.

142679 – Partially tested; lamp powers on. Overall good condition with minor scuffs and scratches. Condenser adjustment knob for vertical movement is non-functional; condenser can be moved manually. Missing lamp lens/cover, eyepieces, and objectives.

159339 – Tested, non-functional. Lamp does not illuminate (fuse verified as good). Overall fair condition with minor scuffs and scratches. Crack on base plastic near front left corner. Stage appears bent to the side. Missing eyepieces, objectives, condenser, condenser mount, and lamp lens/cover.

188433 – Tested, partially functional. Lamp does not illuminate (fuse verified as good). Overall good condition with minor scuffs and scratches. Stage appears bent to the side. Missing lamp lens/cover, eyepieces, and objectives.

160401 – Partially tested; assumed functional. Lamp powers on. Good condition with minor scuffs and scratches. Missing lamp lens/cover, eyepieces, and one rear rubber foot. Stage axis adjustments are very loose, skip gear teeth, and do not stay in position. Some roller bearings are missing. No objectives included.

For this reason, we are selling the unit AS-IS for parts/repair as a non-working or incomplete unit.

We have not tested / inspected any further, item may have unknown issues we are not aware of.
